About
I'm a game designer in the Seattle area with 15 years in games. I care most about systems design, rapid prototyping and how a game feels in the hands of the player.
I came to design from technical audio and QA. That background shows me how systems are built, tested and experienced, and it makes my design documents precise, my iteration grounded and my work with other disciplines smooth.
I shipped core gameplay features for Ire: A Prologue at ProbablyMonsters. I'm now a game designer at a stealth startup, and in my own time I'm building an unannounced game about corporate life, blending survival and lifestyle simulation, on my own in Unreal Engine 5.

Outside Work
I studied at Berklee College of Music.
Away from the desk I'm usually behind a camera. Photography keeps me thinking about framing, light and where the eye goes, which carries straight into level and camera work.
