Destiny 2

At Bungie I scripted mission events and designed the timing and behavior of all voiceover in Destiny 2, so the story landed while players were in the middle of play.

Overview

I spent four years at Bungie, starting in Audio QA on Destiny and moving up to Technical Audio Designer on Destiny 2.

Testing Destiny's world-building and audio systems taught me how they were put together. That knowledge fed straight into the scripting and design work on Destiny 2.

What I Did

  • Scripted mission events and designed the timing and behavior of every voiceover line to support narrative flow.
  • Helped guide the direction of the in-house Dialogue Tool, a pipeline that linked Design, Audio, and Narrative.
  • Created custom post-process chains to affect dialogue for individual characters.
  • Drove narrative audio implementation across platforms with the narrative, design and engineering teams.

Let's Make Something Together!

I'm open to Game Design roles prioritizing the Seattle area and remote, but will consider relocation in the right circumstances.
